Having the Blue Star Memorial Marker set at Veterans Memorial Park in Klamath Falls has been the greatest achievement of my term as Director. We partnered with the VFW and Active National Guard people here at Kingsley Field and the Ceremony turned out GREAT! We even had a double flyover by the base comander and another flyer. We had the VFW Honor Guard, and our Oregon State Garden Club President was the Principal Speaker. It was a real Honor. We have a new lovely Veteran's Memorial and a fabulous Park sets it all off so nicely.
